Breaking Away is one of my all-time favorites. A good movie, not just a good bike movie. Dennis Quaid looks like he’s about 12.

It’s a great movie. The script won an Academy Award. The cycling scenes are wonderful. And who wouldn’t love a cat named Figaro.

I don’t believe so, but I own the DVD and you’re welcome to borrow it. I can bring it to the next HH if you like.

Love Breaking Away, Peter Yates has directed a number of my favorite movies including Bullitt. Both are a must see for any movie buff.

My copy is a video tape from a local broadcast in Bloomington during the 80s. Maybe I should invest in updated technology?

Amazon has it for $8.21 right now, maybe I’ll grab a copy I ordered the wrong brake pads so I need to do another order anyway (anybody need some threaded Kool Stop pads?)

Are those the salmons all the kids are talking about? Yes, I do need some of those. What did you pay?

I’ve got one set of the Supra2 in salmon and one set of the dual compound mountain pads. Got em off Amazon Prime, think they were $11 and $13. Or, y’know, a couple of ciders.
