How to get to Long Bridge Park?

Heading north along the airport, look for the sign directing you to Crystal City. Take that path and make a right on Crystal Drive when you come out of the tunnel. Crystal Drive will lead you to Long Bridge Park.

Heading south, you can take the tunnel to the Columbia Island Marina (just north of the 14th street bridge), go through Ladybird Johson park and cross the wooden bridge to Boundary Channel Drive. Head south on Boundary Channel and it ends at Long Bridge Drive.

If you have a choice, come from the south (Crystal City) as the path from the Columbia Island Marina seems to be a bit more obvious from the bridge over the Boundary Channel to the MVT seems more obvious when going from west to east. The bridge is pretty easy to find going north.

I would think to call the stretch from the soccer fields to near the parking area and bridge on the lagoon as “rustic” overstates the quality of the roads. Take it slow, pay attention and you should be fine.

If you are towing a trailer, then please stay on the MVT to the Crystal City turn off by National. Boundary Channel drive and Old Jefferson Davis are in really bad shape.
