We saw you guys near the end of the race, called out but you didn’t hear. Tim got some creepy stalker telephoto pics. Looks like you had a good time though!

It was a very fun day and great being able to easily walk the entire course and find shaded areas to watch from at almost any point, as Megabeth mentioned. Watching the “feeding station”, where teammates and friends attempt to hand off drink bottles to the cyclists, was almost like an added event. Richard Fries, who some of us met at the TJROW ride, gave great commentary that explained a lot about the racing and made it really interesting to watch. Was nice to see Elcee and some other friends from the forum. Great photos, Two Wheels!

I saw Tim Kelley trying to shoot hanging out the back window of the lead car. Dude, how did you not vomit getting thrown around in there!?

I went with a friend for the 12:00 pro men’s race and had a blast. It was his first time at any sort of cycling event. We circulated around the course for a while while I snapped some pictures (will post a link later). Around lap 70 we ducked into Liberty Tavern for a beer and then Hard Times (great view from upstairs). We watched the last 10ish laps of the race from the finish area.

I think I saw a few people from the forum around, being new here I’m sure nobody recognized me. I was the guy in the “Ride Bikes, Drink Beer, Get awesome” t-shirt.

My inlaws were in town, and have posted some of their pictures, including some of the Clarendon Cup (Mostly the 1,2,3 race, because that’s what my husband raced — starts on page 2). There’s also some great tourist shots. It’s amazing how nice the weather has been this month. Knock on wood.
