ParticipantSo, the 200 Mile Ride and the adventure up in the mountains this weekend were just a warmup? You are a glutton for punishment, Pete! :p
In all seriousness, very sorry about your brother but what a wonderful legacy. Happy to support you and best wishes.

ParticipantFirst: Thanks y’all for your donations. They are much appreciated.
Second: I train all year for riding from mid September through mid October. This is what I call Stupid Human Tricks. The 220 mile ride two weeks ago and the century in the mountains were definitely a good warm-up for what’s coming week after next. This weekend I need to get a little time on the mountain bike to make sure I know how to ride the thing. Not doing anything too difficult or long since I’ve got a 250-mile weekend in a few weeks.
What makes it worse is that I’ve scheduled the Kill Bill Century the weekend before Seagull and the MoCo epic. Should make it interesting.
Enjoy the rainy rides today.

ParticipantGreat rides this weekend!
Saturday the fixie Seagull Century went perfectly, thanks to the help of my friend Jabberwocky. The wind was brutal. 100 miles in 5 hours. PHotos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pedrogringo/sets/72157627901708984/
The Sunday mountain bike epic was flawless! 136 miles in 13 hours. Absolutely no problems at all. Photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pedrogringo/sets/72157627910693256/
Monday morning intervals were super slow.
I got one doughnut for each interval I completed. Thanks again for all your support!!!

ParticipantI wanted to take a minute to thank you all for your donations. The fund raising campaign ended this morning and the response was fantastic. Once all the corporate matching things are added in, more than $2000 was raised for GRASP. For a small group like this, that is a very big deal.
Thank you so much for helping out and spreading the word.
Best wishes,
Pete
