    Nope, but when I was cycling down 16th NW towards K St NW this early afternoon I also had to detour as several blocks were cordoned off with tape, and there were flashing sirens on vehicles and cops all over. I heard one cop talking to the manager of a restaurant/bar that had outside seating telling them that all patrons had to go inside.

    Apparently some poor soul hanged himself.

    I decided to drive this AM just in case the bridge was still closed but was pleased to see the trail was open again at 6:45 when I passed through.

    Not sure what it was, but I saw tour buses being escorted around with a somewhat heavy load of police cars and motorcycles. Must be nice to be able to push everybody else out of your way when you get your site seeing done!
