    I did the loop about 6pm tonight- all clear, actually less debris than MVT or Custis. Just a strong headwind going northbound :).

    Any updates on FMR between Shirlington and MVT (the areas where mud collects), or MVT to 14th St bridge? Thanks for the post-Irene info everyone!

    I rode the W&OD from Reston to Shirlington, then the connector and 4-mile run to the MVT, then north Haynes Point yesterday. All is well. There is some debris along the trail, but it wasn’t enough to do anything to my 23mm racer-wanna-be tires.

    Should be a nice, mellow commute.

    Sorry that I was slow at answering. Been a weird day.
