While I know your heart was in the right place, there are way too many forums on here and that contributes to poor participation.
If you want this forum to take off, you need to make it easier for people to see activity.
My 2 cents
One thing that helps is the availability of the What’s New button in the upper left. That shows the visitor which threads have new content since the last visit. Tidy!
