    Here’s some more information from one of the Bike/Ped engineers:

    “In case people haven’t already seen it, we also have temp racks there on site during the construction period, which we anticipate being through at least the end of next week. Hoping to be open for business again the week of the 13th, but if not then it’ll be a Christmas present. Folks will want to know what the plan looks like. Basically it’ll be poured concrete flush to grade with 22 new “U” racks arrayed like a donut.”

    I’m a little sorry to see the old bike pit gone… that was deluxe bike accommodation in its day.

    Just saw it this morning. The time had come. Looks like they removed all the abandoned bikes from the other bike racks at that station too.

    Also, hi, I’m new here. Long-time Arlingtonian and bike commuter.
