Group Ride: Donut Ride 2/1/25

I created a route that spans 20 miles starting in VA, traversing DC, and ending in MD. I also picked donut shops that we didn’t go to on the 2024 Donut Ride. I’ve only been to Astro, so if you haven’t been to some of these, we’ll be trying them for the first time together.

Juicy details:

• Start time, i.e., rolling out: 9am on Saturday 2/1/25. Please arrive earlier than rolling out time if you want to enjoy a donut and coffee at the start location.
• Start location: Just Fine Donuts
• Pace: Party, i.e., not too fast, not too slow, but we have 20 miles and 4-5 donut shoppes to hit.
• Who: Freezing Saddles participants and Friends of Freezing Saddles
• What else: please bring a tube, patch kit, tools, and the knowledge how to use them (or a friend that does) so you can take care of any mechanicals if they happen. Also, bring a positive, sunny attitude 🙂

I also included Metro stations close to the start and end on the route map if you don’t feel like – or have enough time – to bike a big loop.
