ParticipantHill Killer has their DC jerseys, which are great, and Pedal Pushers Club makes great BikeDC-themed t-shirts.

From the email I received from Fauquier Trails
But they didn’t say that at the time of registration, and then when they told us, it was already too late to change sizes…

ParticipantSince they didn’t tell us in advance that the t-shirts would be long-sleeved performance shirts, I asked for a large, which looks like pajamas on me. Anyone have a small they’d willingly trade for a large? I like the shirt, but it looks ridiculous on me.

HP is closed indeed. All the bathrooms are locked and the water is shut off. The golf course has been converted to a Park Police vehicle parking lot. They’re closed down for the long haul.
I’ve seen conflicting reports about how “closed” HP is in terms of just getting through on Ohio Drive. One person posted that it was closed at the East side, but not the West, but a photo in this thread appears to show the gate closed on the West side. Someone else posted a photo on facebook just showing orange cones on the East side. Who’s been out there? What’s it really like. I don’t need the bathrooms. I just want to ride.

ParticipantI work in Chinatown. I actually use the freight elevator to bring my bike into my office. You might check to see if that would be an option for you. If it isn’t, there is a bike rack inside the garage at 777 6th Street NW (east side of 6th, south of H) where you can park your bike.
Valerie
ParticipantIt also says that they can auction them or donate them. The reporting from WUSA isn’t very good. Donation seems the better route.

Great reporting — no information given on where, when, or how they are going to be auctioned.
Yeah. The MPD website makes it look like they’ll just put them in the online auction. I didn’t even know they had a Flickr page showing recovered bicycles, though. That was the most interesting thing to me.

ParticipantThanks for putting us in touch!

ParticipantAny word on this? Are the bollards back or are they still missing?
WABA will be out there on Tuesday: http://www.waba.org/blog/?p=7989 I wonder if they can find out…

ParticipantWhat kills me is the vast wasteland between Connecticut Avenue (and Columbia Road at one point) and Wisconsin north of Dupont. There is this PERFECT place for a bikeshare station at the intersection of Kalorama and Connecticut that multiple people have asked for repeatedly, to no avail. 😡

ParticipantAnd DDOT apparently doesn’t know what happened, either? https://twitter.com/DDOTDC/status/296750659989032960
