I ask again: Who can we contact about this?

I think I would freak out if that happened.
Normally, yes, but I was on the cusp of stalling – he timed it perfectly!

ParticipantMe: grunting up the last few feet of the TR Bridge/KenCenter detour path.
You: walking up the path like an *intelligent* person, giving me a quick push on the back to help get me onto the path proper.
Thanks! I needed that!

As you may already know, there will be no Bike DC ride in 2013.
To whom can we express our disappointment and request that this excellent event be reinstated in 2014?

I always get a headwind on the W&OD – but why going both ways? It’s just not fair!
^^^ This.
Where are you, Consularrider? I’m in OCS.

ParticipantDrew. I commute on the WOD/MCT between Falls Church and Foggy Bottom, on a “campstove green” Surly Cross Check. I don’t ride a mountain bike very often anymore, but when I do it’s on a geared Salsa Dos Niner or a singlespeed Salsa mamacita.
With the exception of Dirt and Jabberwocky, I doubt I’ve met (m)any of you, except maybe in passing, on account of I’m antisocial.

Not working. I suspect it has something to do with it being Windows Media Player, and I’ve got a Mac.

If you have a chance, listen to WAMU today between 12- 2 for a discussion about our region’s growing bike culture.
Names you recognize will be Kojo’s guests:
Shane Farthing, Executive Director of WABA
Chris Eatough, Program Manager from Bike Arlington
Carolyn Szczepanski, Director of Communications, Women Bike, American League of Bicyclists
Is/Will this be available as a podcast? WAMU’s site does not appear to offer it as a recording (either that or they offer it in Windows Media Player format only, and my Mac’s browser won’t play it – I’m not sure which).

ParticipantMe: Using the MUT – on my bike, on foot, it doesn’t matter.
You, being ~75% of the cyclists who pass me: *silence*
Me, sarcastically: “ON MY LEFT, I GUESS!”
