And I’d been having such a nice ride.
Detained again, Sir? Hope they didn’t use the zip ties on you this time.

ParticipantI’d like to complain that the costume requirement for fair volunteers was never specified.

That’s our own Tim Kelley, by the way.acc
ParticipantAs a woman who races, I agree. In between the start and finish line the competition is fierce but once the race is over and the pizza comes out, people stand around and enjoy the day and each other’s company. Sometimes, there’s even a moon bounce.

ParticipantAbsolutely correct. If I didn’t have medications my asthma would be bad enough that I couldn’t get on a bike or run.
Take what you need to function and live a meaningful life. Period.

ParticipantThanks Mark. You’re right, the one of them clothed is much better to put up on the forum.

ParticipantI would never objectify a cyclist based on their size. That would be wrong. They are all beautiful.
Speaking as a woman who appreciates men, any male cyclist on his bike who is smiling and happy is a great looking man.

acc, no one here thinks you’re old, about the other … :p
I don’t view myself as a pervert, just someone with alternative hobbies. You know, like owning too many damn bikes.
As for drugs, love the idea in theory but if they are effective they either send me into a coma or wreck my stomach.

ParticipantGood Luck With That Century Ride! 😎

ParticipantYes, I lift on the machines in the weight rooms in the Fairfax County Rec Centers. Have been lifting for five years, twice a week.
I wouldn’t be able to do much on a bike or in a pool if I didn’t.

ParticipantReading your ambitious cooking schedules makes me want to lie down and rest until the dizziness passes.
Am I really the laziest human being on this Forum?
At least once a week I’d order pizza for lunch and share it with my fellow galley slaves.
And if I didn’t feel like sharing, I’d eat the leftovers for lunch the next day.
I might keep cheese and crackers and possibly grapes or apples around to munch on, maybe some peanut butter.
Beyond that starts to sound like work and it’s bad enough to be *at work* I don’t want to inflict more misery on myself.
If you were driving every day you’d eat out, yes? Buy twice as much and keep it over for the next day.acc

I still remember the S&W Cafeteria in Landmark when it was an open mall.
If Arlington hadn’t been Vietnamese, we wouldn’t have Eden Center for nuoc mam fixes.Guess what? There was an S&W cafeteria inside 7 Corners when it was an open mall too.

ParticipantYes of course because who doesn’t want to miss the Men’s Swimming 400 IM preliminary heats? 😎
Watched the cycling for a bit very early and then was lulled back to sleep by such observations like, “You know it’s quite something to see Wiggins do duty as a domestique for his team…”

ParticipantI have a feeling my steel box consists of a great deal of composite plastic.
Arlingtonrider, do we get extra credit bonus points for listing our astrological sign?

Y’all think you have “On your left” problems? I think this might qualify as a “Tail of woe.”
Hope all is well with y’all. We’re having fun in Africa.
Dirt, please remember, no riding in the trunk, or bouncing off it either.

ParticipantYou mean like a thread titled, “Commando Cycling?”
