Dirt, you need to come home a little earlier than 4:30. You’re not getting any younger.

This is beginning to remind me of a cross between Yeti sightings and the Loch Ness Monster.

I had great experience at Tri360 yesterday. I broke down and bought a wetsuit because I’m tired of renting rubber underwear. I walked in and was able to work with a woman triathlete who understood what I was looking for. She was a good source for information about how things fit on real people. She gave me some insight into the Bumpass, Va tri course because she’s done it. I’m happy because now I have my very own rubber underwear and no longer have to share. ;)

Sounds like more than for personal use.

    When and where, Mr. Kelley?

Certain Arlington riff raff was spotted loitering in Vienna last night. I almost ran over him at the W&OD crossing at Park Street.

I agree. Liquid refreshment that is both an aperitif and antibacterial heals many wounds.

But I’m a mess. So only white wines.

The lights on the frame ran off six DD batteries and the basket was lit with about a dozen AAs.

The skirt came from Toys R Us.

It was a terrific evening of bike racing and silly costumes.

Seeing Chris Eatough racing in a Mario costume and bunny hopping hay bales was priceless.

The best part was seeing so many people from the forum.

I can reach out of the way places.

    I can ride for food.

I can take my bike to play with other bikes.

Or I can take a bike out just for fun.

And seasons matter too. Wait until it’s winter. The trails will be quiet.

Keep that up and I’ll start drafting your eulogy. Chantilly?!

We have a long way to go outside the Beltway. Our subdivisions and roads never envisioned bikes.

On Thursday afternoon I saw three bikes on Rout 123 in the Tysons area between International Drive and McLean. I have nothing but admiration for them. But there’s no way I’m getting out there during rush hour and take on the genus Washingtonian Commuter Australopithecus Rex-creational Vehicle.

I lack the skill and balancing ability to carry two six-packs home on a bike. So I will keep my car for now. :p
