My 45nrth Dillinger 4s arrived in the pouch yesterday, and four inches of snow arrived overnight. Time to finish up getting the Pugsley back together.
Can you PM me a source? My bike shop says 45NRTH is sold out and not accepting orders. It could be a slippery winter in DC.

My latest purchase comes from the cosmetic aisle. Touch up for the exposed aluminum after the dremel fixed the RD stops to allow for full cable run.

ParticipantRevolution Cycles put their 2015 TEKOA-IE electric bike on pre-order sale for $1999 (MSRP $3,200). Not sure if it’s a great deal or not, but I thought I’d share in case someone wants an e-bike.
My husband told me to buy it. I knew he wouldn’t support my N+1 desire without ulterior motives, which was confirmed when he explained it was so we could buy a house further from DC and I could still commute in. I told him I’m not buying the bike, and we’re still not moving more than a 15 mile (1 way) bike commute to my office. So HMPH.
I will look at investing in an e-bike once kids show up in our lives. I’ll need some help hauling them to daycare, but that’s not happening soon.

ParticipantGetting married (!!!) in October and I needed to go down to one bike with some versatility. Thanks to Bikenetic for the hook up! Salsa cowbell 2’s and 35mm Clement X’plor USH tires so far. I was only able to take it for a quick spin last night but I can already tell that this steed will be FUN!

Why are those two things related?

I’d say they relate in terms of budget and excitement.

You’re selling the other bikes to pay for the wedding and you’re so excited to be married that you don’t expect to ride as much?

ParticipantI think it was just an excuse to buy this bike. Which is beautiful.

kwarkentienParticipantDirt set me up for the blizzard to end all blizzards with these nice 45North Xexres studdeds. Very easy to mount and lightweight. And I had to get the cool Bikenetic Buff too! Bring on the snow!
