Join me for one of my favorites : Hains Point to Lake Artemesia

Wheels Out 10:30Hains Point Golf Course Parking Lot
972 Ohio Dr SW, Washington, DC 20024Plenty of free parking here. Nice toilets too.
We will pass the Wharf, Yards Park, Nats Stadium, Navy Yard and head over the 11th St bridge to the Anacostia River Trail.
We will take the trail up to Lake Artemesia for a spin around the lake and a bathroom plus photo op.
On the way back we will detour off the trail a bit for a snack or lunch at ShortCake Bakery. Please bring a LOCK.
We will cross the River and take the trail on the other side, stopping by Kingman Island for a brief stop and photo op.
