ParticipantI’m working the night shift this Saturday, but don’t have to work Sunday so that means that I can do my normal thing of staying up all day Sunday to switch back to a day schedule. This means that a non-epic ride Sunday afternoon by me is totally do-able.
I am also planning on attending Judd’s Presidents Day History ride this coming Monday.
And don’t forget that this Tuesday, I have put together a Bicycles and Trivia Night in Beltsville.

Hey Delicate Snowflakes, Cap’n Jeff is back, so let’s do a team meetup (and ride?)! It’d be nice to put the faces to the names. If we decide it’ll be on a weekend, I won’t be able to do anything this Saturday (2/10), but I can do something Sunday. Or if another team is doing a big ride, maybe we can infiltrate them
Whatever the case, let’s get together at least once, and soon!
EDIT: Err, I forgot this Sunday is the Stop, Swap, and Save, which I haven’t missed in at least a dozen years. Maybe a meetup/ride later in the afternoon, like around 3?

Weather looks warm but rainy on Sunday afternoon. I’m good with that.

By “this coming Monday”, you mean 14 days, right? (It’s on 2/19)
I’ll talk to milady about coming out to this this Tuesday’s ride

ParticipantErr… yeah. I swear I have very little concept of the calendar these days.

Patty has been KILLIN’ it with the mileage! Thank you! A few of us have been consistent, adding our (at least) 11 points for each day, but I know personally I’ve gotta lay down more miles. And since we have so many, anyone that has the letter “J” or “E” in the first or last name needs to do a century to help us get back in the running. And when I say “running”, I mean get us back into the top 18
As of this evening our hero Patty F and Lynn S have exactly the same mileage, jostling for virtual podium position!

ParticipantI think the best thing to do for recovery is to stay off your bike for a few weeks, Alan! Just kidding. Feel better!

ParticipantSo I suddenly have nephew duty tomorrow, and will have to unfortunately bow out any possible group ride that might happen. If you ride tomorrow, stay warm and dry!

ParticipantMid pack finish for the Snowflakes, but some nice individual milestones this FS season: Patty on overall podium! Ricky, Millie and Eddie closing on in 100% participation days. Shane with 70+ days and 1200 miles. I had a weak winter on mileage, with that long vacation and then nursing a cold for long while. But I did hit one marker a couple weeks ago: 50k miles since I started tracking on Strava in 2012. Next year I’ll try to compete more seriously, maybe at least on #fs2019dirtybiker! -Jeff
