CANCELED! Team 14 MLK Day Ride: Vigilante Coffee to MLK, 1/15/24 @ 10am

I am officially canceling the ride today.
I felt bad because the weather turned out decent yesterday (after they forecasted rain-snow), so I waited as long as I could to feel out today’s conditions. I walked outside, and it’s a little slippery in my little corner of the College Park area. Definitely wipe-out conditions if you aren’t extremely careful (and maybe still if so).

 

Thus, there is no official group ride today.

 

I still might try to go to Vigilante, and if anyone shows up, I’ll ride around a little. However, strongly consider if it’s a good idea for you. I already got one report from Serdar that was on his way from Virginia, and it was slippery for him. (He has wisely turned back.)

Hi all,

Sorry I had to swap dates, but as of now, the weather looks wet-slippy-crashy for the original start date and time (1/14 @ 9am). I don’t want anyone to get hurt, and those conditions make it more likely.

 

The NEW DATE and TIME is MLK Monday, 1/15/24 @ 10am.

It’s still rolling from Vigilante Coffee in Hyattsville.
