    Posting for a friend: Someone broke into his garage and stole his Italian steel Dacordi. Black frame, black Look fork, Campy group and wheels. Pic attached.

    Keep an eye out for him. This one has really high sentimental value for him, much more than his tricked out carbon Colnago, which the thief inexplicably left in the garage.

    He’s a really great guy. Has a little girl. Please let me know if you see anything…

    Do you mind sharing the neighborhood/jurisdiction where this happened? How did the thief break into the garage?

    Tim, if by an off-chance someone did in fact see this bike out there. What is the best thing to do in this situation? Call the police?

    It happened in Georgetown. Not sure how.

    Probably a good time for a forum wide reminder to take pictures of your bike – all angles, all components, all identifying scratches, all labels
