Rush hour traffic is KILLING ME!

I don’t know how you guys do it! Leading into a holiday weekend I decided to relax a little this morning and get a late start on my commute. I was commuting during peak hours and DANG was there a ton of traffic.

Traffic was backed up for more than half a block waiting at the light at the Lynn Street Intersection of Eternal Peril.

Odd – had a different experience this morning. Was eerily quiet on my ride in. Probably took me 30 fewer seconds to get in b/c of the light traffic;)

It’s been heavy traffic all week, carry over from B2WD and nice weather? Your shot at N Ft Myer Dr (Lynn is the next light) isn’t all that unusual between 7:30 and 8:00 am. Love the shot of the rider running the light. Did she pass around the stopped traffic or hook a left from a traffic lane/N Ft Myer sidewalk?

Oops. You’re right. I miss labeled the death zone.

She was sort of close to the front of the line when she crossed. I think she had to wiggle past 2 people before she could run the light.

She is a really role model cyclist. The jogger ran the STOP sign but she waited for the light.

15 seconds after taking this photo, three cyclists cut to the front of the line and ran the light. One guy laughed when I snarked my amazement at his level of entitlement. I love sarcasm.
