Phoenix Bikes June Events!!

There’s a lot going on this month – here are a couple events in June, both support our wonderful non-profit Phoenix Bikes!

Next Wednesday, June 27th we’ve got a bicycling comedian coming to town! Tom Snyders, “The Bicycling Comedian,” has spent the past 25 years pedaling his fully-loaded touring bicycle to all his stand-up comedy performances. He’s cycled more than 162,000 miles, to and throughout, all 50 states (Hawaii was not easy), and in 34 countries on six continents.

Buy tickets here and have a few laughs.

Second event: Phoenix Rising – July 14th, 6:00 PM at Dominion Hills Clubhouse, 6000 Wilson Blvd., Arlington.

Join Phoenix Bikes to celebrate Bastille Day and the Tour de France and help raise money help Phoenix Bikes build a new shop. To go along with the theme, guests will enjoy a French-themed dinner
and dessert with beer and wine (of course) and cycling videos.

There will also be a raffle with awesome prizes. Tickets are limited so get them now!

Speaking of Phoenix, they had a great booth at TdF where kids could draw pics of bikes that would then be posted online. Any idea if they’ve been posted or will be? I have a six year old pestering me to see her and her friend’s drawings, but I haven’t been able to find them.

My friend, former neighbor and cycling buddy is organizing the Phoenix Rising event on July 14. It should be a great event for a great cause.
