More helmet cam fun

So recently instead of using my handlebar mount for my camera, I’ve been using the helmet strap. The video is a little bouncier, and obviously you can get some swinging back and forth when you’re looking both ways at an intersection! But it is sort of an interesting perspective to see where my head is looking on the commute — there’s a lot of nature sightseeing on the trails, and you can see when I’m looking down at my rear-view mirror sometimes. About mid-way through the vacation one, we stopped for a swim break — the camera’s waterproof, so I just left it on in the water, although the wide angle effect makes the fish look really small.

Bonaire. Great place to dive and bike. Not much else, which is perfect for us.

Another beautiful day, another great commute. Today’s highlights included a (truly) careful dump truck driver, some excellent on-bike maneuvers, and some amusing views. Of course, there were the usual red light runners and pass you to turn right guys too. But on balance, another great ride. Here is today’s highlight reel:
