Sharing on behalf a friend about the upcoming Girls in Gear 5th birthday celebration on May 30th.
Girls in Gear (girlsingear.org), a DC nonprofit that helps girls of all ages and abilities build confidence on and off their bikes, is celebrating its fifth birthday on May 30 in Anacostia Park. In honor of the celebration, join Gold Medal Paralympian Allysa Seely for an exclusive, kid-free ride designed for adult cyclists. Learn more about Girls in Gear, take a picture with Allysa, and enjoy a welcoming, no-drop ride on the trail. All donations will support our no-questions-asked scholarship policy that includes bikes to helmets to ensure that more girls across DC have access to biking and all the things we know it teaches us about ourselves.
