For the ladies only! Peeing on long rides….a solution!

Just got one of these gizmos to deal with the issue of not having a place to pee while out hiking or biking. Ladies, you know what I mean when I mention “p*nis envy”. 😡 This little piece of plastic works great!!!!! I can do my business as fast as any guy now with minimal amount of “exposure.” So yeah, people may do a double take if they see a lady standing up peeing but I don’t care. Heck, they may just think I’m a Caitlyn wannabee. Whatever, this gizmo solves so many problems and I don’t have to touch icky stuff in porto-potties ever again. I very highly recommend it if you have a bladder the size of a pea. Also, you can now stay properly hydrated; very important with the hot weather upon us! And yes, it will fit discretely in most jersey pockets (the tip may poke out so I recommend getting the clear color).

I bought my PStyle on Amazon along with a nice looking case.

And yes, I’m sure this post has given a good chuckle to a few of the dudes out there. Just be grateful you don’t have to go the plastic route to do your business!

And no, I won’t provide pictures of it being used so don’t even suggest it (though their Facebook site does have a video of it in use….).

I second this question. In theory it sounds like a great idea. However, the thought of packing it away in my pocket or pack after use is a little concerning, and I would hate to have to waste drinking water to rinse it off.

Fortunately the plastic is very “slickery” so yes, you can just shake it off. Keep in mind that the “liquid” is being fed thru the funnel with some force. Also, you only need a small squirt (about a tablespoon) of water from your bottle to be sure it is all clean. Given some porta-potties/bathrooms I’ve been in this is definitely more sanitary and you really don’t need toilet paper when used properly (better for the environment!).

The device fits in a sandwich size ziplock bag. I also purchased one of their decorative storage pouches in case I don’t have any pockets or will be surrounded by lots of people.

So… you’ve used it? And it works with minimal spillage and stuff getting on hands? Do you still have to fully drop trou?

I’ve seen similar products before, my army friends told me about the sheewee a few years ago–they used it in bootcamp a bunch. The benefit of that one is it comes in pink

But truth is I just don’t get it.

Not asking for any demos, but maybe you can just tell us when one would actually use this thing? I mean, you still have to go into porta potties (hand sanitizer here we come!) or you can just get intimate with a tree? Seems you’d still need to get the shorts/tights out of the way. So I can’t quite figure out the advantage.

In the linked image there’s a lady rock climber. I can imagine how the gadget could be useful on a rock wall… or on a spaceship.

Yes, I’ve used it without any spillage and I didn’t touch anything “icky”. It is incredibly quick and easy (men have it so lucky!). You do not need to drop your shorts, just pull them down in front a bit, insert, wee, you’re done. Very minimal exposure and no need to trek deep into the woods for privacy. Less chance of wee getting on your shoes too. Very useful if you’re out in the boonies and public facilities aren’t available or there are long lines at event bathrooms. Also useful if it is cold out and you don’t want to have “delayer”. It is about as close to being like a guy as you’re gonna get.

The PStyle comes in multiple colors.

You don’t need hand sanitizer (or TP) if used correctly. Also, trees aren’t always available; for instance, out west in the desert where it’s just wide open spaces or perhaps you are surrounded by homes and have only minimal vegetation. And weeing the conventional way does expose more of your private parts to other eyeballs, bugs, poison ivy, the cold, etc. Takes longer too. You can avoid trespassing on private land as well.

To each his own. I’ve just been on too many trips where I’m the only chick and bathroom breaks are a major PITA cause everyone has to wait while I hunt around for a private place, dispose of TP, get redressed, etc. I also like the fact that I can keep my bike next to me at all times on solo trips, that is, I don’t have to leave it by the side of the road while I trek deep into the woods or use the bathroom/porta-pottie. I find there aren’t always options to lock up a bike once you get out of the city areas.

Hmm. Thanks. Guess I’ve been “a girl” too long to imagine anything else, but the advantages do sound impressive.

Now if you could use it to enter the boys’ room at truck stops then I’d be totally sold. But that might raise eyebrows. Those female lines can be absurdly long.

Sounds like some of the modesty benefits might be reduced in winter, depending on what you wear.
