NOOOOOOO! I am so sad that I am going to miss this (Keystone Gravel Race is that day). We will chat offline, but let me know what I can do to help with planning!

ParticipantI had a lot of fun with this. No way anybody will convince me to strap and dangle 80 lbs of water and wood chips to my body and haul it up outta four mile run again, but I’d do it again in a non competitive fashion.

Watching you strap and dangle stuff to yourself during this last year was in my top 3.

Judd- I hope you have been practicing your fire extinguisher spraying in the off-season!

Pro tip: Don’t rely on me to save you from fires. Samantha has promised all new life saving challenges this year, but she refused to tell me what they are. In revenge, I outbid her at the last minute at the Maker’s Ball auction.

I think this year should be the year to find out how much mulch LSG can duct tape to himself in the event of a natural disaster.

Totally not cool! Any super-hard challenges this year are Judds fault!

I just ordered a trailer today, so I’m going to put Team LLB as the early frontrunner.

ParticipantHi All – The DRT is a success due to the many bicycle clubs and teams (& many volunteers!) who help us organize it! We are looking for a few groups who may be interested in Captaining a couple of the checkpoints. This entails working with us to plan the checkpoint logistics, staffing the checkpoint day-of (& bringing your crew!), set-up and clean-up of the checkpoint, and providing us with feedback to make the whole event run better next year. If you’re on a bike club/team, or know of one that may be interested, please contact me at sbrann@ArlingtonVA.us. Thanks!
