Hey folks. Thought I’d post up a reminder about Bike DC. This is a cool tour of DC and Arlington and a chance to ride safely on some roads that we never get to ride. Weather looks to be much better than the 40 degrees and driving rain that we had last year.

    Here’s the web site: http://bikedc.net/

Here’s a discount code: DCC737 Use that in the coupon code when you check out and you’ll get $10 off. Good through midnight Tuesday.

    See y’all out there.

    Pete

I don’t know what time the Roosevelt Bridge shot was taken, but I didn’t see a single cyclist on my ride to the event (started at 6:30 am in the pouring rain) between the W&OD/Custis intersection, across the Roosevelt Bridge and past the White House until I turned on 15th St.

Last October we went early and froze to death. We slept in and were heading across the bridge at 0750. We encountered 3 others on the bridge. The start area at 14th & Penn was pretty well packed, but moving efficiently.
