I spent an afternoon chasing Gwadz through downtown DC. We were both aboard our cargo bikes. It was pretty funny. Definitely an afternoon well spent. That bike needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. It is HUGE!

There’s at least one more running around DC – a Dutch-style cargo bike, although it’s a little smaller than that one.

There’s a bar and lever system that connects. It is a little wooly in this incarnation, but it obviously steers pretty well.

This bike has a sister riding around town… made by the same person.

I have about 2 hours of raw video footage of me chasing Gwadz around downtown DC… both of us riding cargo bikes. It’ll be something cool someday. I need to make him a quick teaser to show some of the footage. I’ll share it here when I get it done. Probably do some video editing during the holidays.
