BAFS Swag Pointless Prize – March 5

BAFS swag has been carefully curated by Komorebi for years. The bright green zipper pulls, ankle bands, buffs and more (yes, more!) are distinctive and awesome to see the wild! I’m sponsoring a pointless prize that will be awarded to the person with the most creative display of BAFS swag. The rules:

1. One day only – Saturday, March 5! You must take the picture on your ride that day
2. Ride at least 5 miles
3. Post your picture on this tread by midnight March 5
4. Only one picture entry per person, though you’re welcome to include a link to your Strava ride if you have taken more pictures

This is my second year in BAFS, so I don’t have much swag and am not very creative but I had a color-coordinated bandana under my helmet:

I actually forgot about this contest today but I always ride with all the FS swag I can get so after I was reminded of it (thanks Robyne [emoji38]) I found all this stuff on me and my bike …..

– Gaiters bearings 2 different years (cuz one was that blooper) so 2021 & 2017
– anklebands from 2019 and 2022
– zipper pulls from 2019 & 2020
– and bonus….one of those skinny ankleband from 2016 (on my wrist in this pic.) This was luck. That anklebands lived in the crossbar of my Madone, which I happened to be riding the today.

Do I get extra credit for luck? [emoji38] How about for managing to west swag from all but 1 year I’ve every played FS without having planned it today?

Oh yeah about the missing year…. I didn’t find anything from 2018 at home either. I think that was the first zipper pull year, and I had them on everything till they died & I replaced them with new ones. I remember being pleased when Komorebi decided to do zipper pulls again cuz mine had fallen apart. I wear this stuff year round cuz I’m always happy to meet FS people [emoji3][emoji177]

Wow, what a contest, congratulations to all the winners!

This morning I was awarded my prizes by Robyne and watched as Komorebi personally (and very precisely) autographed each piece of swag. Thanks to Robyne for sponsoring this pointless prize.
