BAFS 2016 Freezing Saddles Closing Happy Hour

It’s hard to believe but this idiocy–I mean wonderful challenge–that we call Freezing Saddles is currently coming to an end at midnight this Saturday/cusp of Sunday. But fret not dear friends as your BAFS 2016 happy hour committee has been busy planning a fete worthy of the most skilled, roadworthy, badass cyclists the world has ever seen.

So come join us for the closing happy hour:

Where: Mr Smith’s of Georgetown, 3205 K St NW, Georgetown
When: Thursday, 31 March 2016, 1700-2000hr (5-8pm for you non-military time aficionados)

We will provide a bike corral like last time and will be in the upstairs room again. Additionally, we had $$$ left over from last time so we’ll have lots of vittles for you and maybe even some pitchers of beer!

Best of all, we’ll be awarding those fantastic pointless prizes that everyone was been busily vying for and crowning the winners all around. What could be more fun than eating, drinking, and celebrating with your fellow BAFSers? I can’t think of anything better.

Um. Just keep in mind that there is noro-virus “going ’round” and it can strike quite suddenly. It is highly contagious. Be ready to catch it on Thursday afternoon, as needed.

Steve – I have a portable PA system if you want to use it. It’s about 20″ X 20″X10″ – it’s not light, but carryable up stairs and stuff for sure. I will likely not make it due to NucSummit issues. I can bring the amp by your place if desired…

Thanks. dkel transported his amp by bike last time (*ELITE). Unless yours is similarly transportable by bicycle (I will be going directly from work, to which I will have ridden), I think we will go with what we have planned.

Count me in, but late. Between having to work a little late and the nuclear summit mess, I expect it to be pretty late. Oh, and I have not had time to realy make/think about prized for the N-1 nor most single ride states yet.
