The Arlington Blvd Trail could be amazing – a safe, pleasant bike & pedestrian artery stretching from DC to Fairfax City connecting neighborhoods, jobs, & commercial areas. Right now, it is disjointed, difficult to follow, varies in quantity, and is suffering from decades of deferred maintenance.
Join us this Thursday 6/9 as we bike the entirety of Arlington Blvd Trail in Arlington County from East to West, starting at the Iwo Jima Marine Corps Memorial. We will stop along the way to talk about recent improvements, upcoming possibilities for improvement, and where advocacy is still needed to bring this corridor to its full potential.
We will start at 6pm and expect to end in the vicinity of Arlington Blvd & Manchester Street between 7:45 and 8pm. Registration is free, but required. Donations to support our advocacy are always appreciated.
