I’m considering a job at the Mark Center. I used to work there for 17 years, so I’m familiar with routes and the area. I left before they built the monster building, which is where my new job would be. A friend of mine who works there took me on a tour. I saw the bike commuting facilities in the building, and they seemed pretty nice.

I was interested in knowing if anyone works there and could give me any more insight. PM is fine.

    TIA

It will soon be a bit better when the new ped/bike bridge over I395 is done. I ride regularly on Beauregard near there. Traffic is a bit heavy but people are pretty nice about giving me space. Anything specific you want to know?

I work at the Mark Center, but not in the BRAC buildings. I commute from Ballston and don’t have any issues. Beauregard, isn’t the best but traffic is never busy enough for me to slow traffic by taking a lane.

As I said, I worked at the center for almost 20 years, so I’m familiar with the routes and roads. I was mostly interested in the facilities in the big building. How are the bike racks? I was there today and only saw two bikes locked to the rack in the parking garage. Is there a wait to get a locker in the bike commuting locker room? Any other issues, pro or con?
