Accident on the Custis at Oak street.

Rider heading downhill on the Custis hit a police car at Oak street. That police car that was responding to a cyclist hit by a car nearby. Sounds like the rider was carrying too much speed to look left for cars turning right and straight for cars turning right. Hope he is OK.

I rode past this yesterday on my way home and thought it was very suspicious to see two bike accidents a block away from each other. I’d love to see the police report, and also I wonder whether or not the cyclist had the green, and if the officer made an illegal right on red in response to the call up the block.
