$1.7 Million in Mount Vernon Trail Improvements and 2X Donation Match

The Friends of the Mount Vernon Trail are celebrating $1.7 million in trail improvements during our first 5 year partnership agreement with the George Washington Memorial Parkway with a 2X donation match offered by a few forum members.

We have a new 5 year agreement in place with NPS and are looking forward to doing even more to improve the trail. If you appreciate the work we’ve done to remove trail bumps, fill potholes, clear sightlines, preserve trees, and bring new all year water fountains to the trail, we’d greatly appreciate your support.
