So which one of you guys did I see on Military road last night (Monday 6/21) riding a Big Dummy around 7:00pm?

I was posing as a jogger...

I was in the barn by 7pm Monday. I did a Dummy Motivated shopping spree through Arlington... cat toys, baked goods and girlie fruit beer. I was likely well into consuming baked goods and Beer #2 (I gave up eating cat toys) by the time you were out running.

I'm pretty easy to distinguish. I've got sleigh bells on the handlebars so people turn around expecting Santa and they see me. They're less than thrilled. I also think I'm one of the few drop-bar dummies that I know of. Normal humans put flat bars on their cargo bikes for stability.

My guess is that it was Steve Womble-head. He lives in that neighborhood and has been riding his cargo bike exclusively for over a year. Great guy. Was a big help when I started building mine.

Yup. I just went back and checked the GPS data. That was me. Those are my stomping grounds, so I'm frequently on the Dummy back there.

I particularly like getting mixed up in the Conte's ride on Tuesday. Folks look at me like I'm crazy when they pass me climbing hills on that beast.

I was thinking the other week that it would be fun to do the Conte's ride on a Trek Pure (http://images.buzzillions.com/images_products/05/77/221927_raw.jpg)!

I think there's a plan there. Show up for the Conte's ride on some form of bike that is not normally seen in their set. It would give me a good excuse to actually retrieve my Swiss Army bike from mom's garage in Colorado.

Let me know if you do the Conte's ride with cargo bikes et al. I'll show up with baby on the BoBike seat. We'll blow bubbles, too.
